I think you right click on the device in device manager and chose properties.....on iPad at moment, will look later if you can't find it...then look for settings should find it easily, might be in advanced.....worked for me.....

Go here. It's showing a driver that should work since HP released it for that laptop.

Try to install it. If it doesn't work, install it in compatibility mode for Windows 8. That should do the trick.
You can also download the one here http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOU...0-64-bit.shtml but I would try the one provided by HP first.
