    Dell Inspiron GPU Driver Problem


    There is a problem with Dell's latest Intel HD graphics driver for the Inspiron 7537 - driver file Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver_8V48Y_WIN_20.19.15.4835_A07.EXE. The installation fails since the inf fie doesn't include the HD4400 GPU. A manual update via Device Manager shows the same problem. Other owners have reported the same issue on the Dell laptop forum.

    Have any other Inspiron 7537 owners found a fix for this problem other than using the previous Dell driver which does work?

    There's a system BIOS file here that is marked urgent, perhaps give that a go.

    Use Windows Update to get a working gpu driver.

    Windows Update doesn't show a better driver than the current Dell driver c. 2017. Dell have posted a newer driver but that doesn't install as noted above.
