    BIOS update for ASUS P5GC-TVM-SI


    Can anyone help me locate a BIOS update for this sad excuse for a motherboard. Current BIOS is 0501 (2007). I am having big issues trying to boot anything.

    A sticker on the board says P5GC-TVM SE/S. I cannot find any support for this board either. In the interim I am migrating most components to an ASUS P5SD2-VM I have got lying around.

    Don't update your BIOS under Windows.
    Download the BIOS file, extract the file you downloaded to a USB flash disk.
    Reboot and enter BIOS. Go to EZ Flash, browse to the bios file on the USB flash disk and hit update.

    Can only find ASUS P5GC-VM.
    I have seen this kind of issue. It may be a MB build to a specific computer manufacturer.
