System 32 Folder

Just looking for clarification on 3 folders in my SYS 32 folder. I find 1. 1. Drivers 2. Driver State 3. Driver store. What is the difference between them and which one should I use when setting up Slipstreaming to an ISO?

The way Windows store drivers in its Driver Store folders is a little bit complicated than to be able to benefit from in a Slipstream .

So you better include the actual downloaded driver folders with the Slipstream than the "digested" drivers in the Driver Store .

I used DISM Command Prompt to scan and retrieve my system drivers which were then placed in a folder I named "drivers". Is this suffidient for NTLite to use to Slipstream?

the majority of drivers now adays have a huge portion of it installed within program files , so while what you have backed up may be sufficient to keep device manager from nagging you might end up losing all supporting tools , tray icons and control panel utilities .

I'm just looking for the basic hardware device drivers which I hope would be contained in the folder that the DISM command prompt created. I don't need app drivers as I have all the app's in zipped files.
