how to turn off autoplay for non volume devices

How do I turn off autoplay for non volume devices and how it will reflect the changes in the registry

Open the “Settings” app, and click on the “Devices” icon , then toggle "AutoPlay" off or maybe choose the action "Take no action" per device type from bellow form .


It is also accessible through "Control Panel" extended view as "AutoPlay" icon .


As for registry , you can off it by changing "NoDriveTypeAutoRun" entry value in the following registry keys to 1 :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\


and restore it to working by default value 0xFF .
