Mouse Jumps to the Left Side of the Screen

    Hello

I have an all in one HP and the mouse jumps to the top left of the screen when using web pages or when not using the PC it opens windows of icons or folders.
I have tried uninstalling the mouse software in Device Manager but does not make a difference.
Is there anyway to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

Open Control Panel Mouse and move to pointer option tab and un check snap to (center option)
Click apply then ok and see if that has an effect.

Problem still exists - mouse jumps to the top left of the screen

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your suggestion.
I opened (Control Panel Mouse) but the Snap To button was already deselected.

Is there anything else I can try.

    Many Thanks

This sounds like a stuck key or batteries dying on the wireless mouse and or keyboard. First replace all batteries on your Mouse and Keyboard. Turn keyboard upside down and shake it, then blow it out with a can of compressed air. to remove all crumbs and dust.
Use the mouse on a Mouse Pad not a glass or wood surface.

Problem still exists - mouse jumps to the top left of the screen

    Hi,
I made sure that the mouse and keyboard had new batteries and was clean, no stuck keys. My antivirus software is up to date but the pointer still jumps to the top left of screen while typing, browsing or when I am not doing anything or just reading news articles on the screen. Just did it again whilst typing this message.

    Any suggestions most welcome

Change out your mouse and keyboard go see if the problem replicates itself with those other devices. Also go into Device Manager and uninstall the Device and Drivers for HID "Human Interface Devices (ie mouse and keyboard))".

Grab a copy of Ubuntu and run as a live install to see if it happens in there also.

    Hi Bro67,
Thank you for your suggestion, however I an not technically minded so don't know how to run two operating systems on the one PC. I am afraid it may cause more issues.
Do you think Candy Crush Saga software could be be an issue.
