Question about power/current in monitor cords?

I also had the issue at home, there is no wire pinched man and the pc is running fine

I just took the entire build apart, no pinched wires no faulty wires everything is sleeved, board is showing right voltages, I tested it again with 1 input on monitor same power stripe nothing. Was sitting down non static, tile floor wood desk no static anywhere to be found, No teeny spark. Notta! I plugged my monitor into the other power strip that they normally have it plugged up too and insta spark and again these are not big sparks guys, i have to do this in the dark to even see it but tested it with the pc off same result, There is definitely something to having it plugged into the same strip, because once I do have them both in the same strip the problem goes away, here at work and at home.

I have done that too, the only way I can get it to spark is by having them plugged into separate power strips

It happens at home and work when the pcs are plugged into different power strips (monitor in one power strip and tower in a different power strip) it isnt the same pc it is 2 different machines at two different locations

Another question, do both the monitor and PC 3 have prong grounded plugs?

This was the issue that stopped/solved the problem, I did numerous testing and changing this one thing stopped it and repeated the same test with no results. I am marking this as solved.

For good measure I did open the system to verify no pinched wires and checked voltages to the board and from it, all was well and good working order. Cables was sleeved and nothing pinched. Machine is running great this was just something I happen to catch and wanted to learn more about and fix.

Lastly I also tested this on my work computer just to be sure or verify I didn't have two bad machines and the same result when plugged into different power strips that was plugged into different outlets. My actual work machine is a government PC which is not always maintained but runs 24/7/365 and is never shut down and has been running for at least the past 5 years in it's exact layout. Thank you all that helped and assisted me and If I discover anything new or additional that is ground breaking or I feel is important I will update this thread, I hope this helps someone else.
