How can i fix my mouse issues?

    Hiya guys,

Bit of an unusual one. So, after prolonged use on my computer (2-4hrs), my mouse starts right clicking without any input. It would sometimes right click hold and wont let me left click until i right click first. The only work around I have found is restarting my PC. This happens even without a mouse connected to my desktop.

I've ran an sfc /scannow after a DISM restore heath and the issue still persists. Any ideas on how I can get this issue resolved?

    Thanks :)

One would assume the mouse is full of muck and need a electrical cleaning spray I have to do mine every few months

I don't think that'll be the case. This is with a brand new mouse I just bought 2 weeks ago.

Specifically the wireless G502 from Logitech.

Does a standard simple wired/wireless mouse work ?

Being Wireless and all those buttons/functionality probably means a software driver issue somewhere.

I'll probably have to buy one real quick. I'll update if it happens again.

So, update time. Tried with a standard wired mouse when the issue starts occurring, but I still seem to be getting the same issue. I went and removed every usb device in windows and reinstalled them one by one to no avail. Any ideas on how to narrow it down further?

You might try a different keyboard, if one is available. The default keyboard shortcut for right-click is Shift-F10, so the problem may have nothing to do with the mouse.

Just a thought and not sure if you tried it yet. Uninstall it and delete it from the registry then reinstall it. A fresh driver install could be a quick fix. The USB driver might be an issue.

If no progress with any of the above- you could try for comparison
    a. boot to Safe Mode
    b. clean boot
    c. create a new user for test purposes and log in as that user

If you can find a scenario where this doesn't happen, you can then start eliminating things.
    If you can find
