    sound blaster z , windows 10 1903


    sound blaster z audio wont work with windows 10 version 1903, os-version 18362.295.

    installed the newest creative software driver for the audio system and i have no sound, no sound with bios audio switched on, or that the audio pci system software is installed or not installed. i have no audio without any extra audio software installed also. i dont think my headphons work so i cant test it that way.

    any help?

    i dont know what that means and i dont know why it is like that and how can i fix that?

    Are all updates installed? This is a known problem that occurred with the updates pushed back in May.

    yes. i had this problem with the sound blaster z audio card for a long while now and i decided to reinstall windows 10 using the reset windows 10 and keep all files but not programs. then updated windows 10 using the update and security app as usual on windows 10. then i installed the newest creative sound blaster z driver and i got sound now but the cinematic mode wont work for some reason.

    It has been known for a long time that particular card and drivers have had issues with 10. Not much that you can really do when Microsoft keeps breaking it. You are not alone. All things Sound Blaster!
