USB-C stopped working with data and audio
Hello all,
I'm not exactly sure when the problem started but it was soon after I updated to version 1903. My USB-C port has stopped working with data and audio. No mass storage device or USB-C audio device will work anymore. It will still charge a device but that's all it will do. My pc is an HP G2 Pro running Windows 10 Pro. I have tried removing all the USB devices in device manager and re-booting, updating the BIOS and fiddled with all the USB settings like enabling or disabling the Power Management. Attempting to update drivers just gets me the "the best drivers for your device are already installed" message. I'm completely stumped and Google has not been my friend with this particular issue. I discovered the issue while attempting to install a new rom on one of my Android phones and ADB would not detect the device. Plugging in a USB A to C cable into a standard USB-3 port worked so that sent me down this rabbit hole! Thanks.
Edit: I also tried to rollback the drivers but that option is greyed out and unavailable even when I'm logged in as an admin.
