I cloned laptop to SSD and it says cloned successfully. I stick the SSD into the laptop and it doesn't work.
Messages on screen say ' Initialising and establishing link'
Then ' DHCP' with a flashing slash'
'Exiting intel boot agent cannot boot from any device'
then to a screen showing boot order which all say 'device not found'
Anyone know what the problem is?

It looks like the BIOS isn't seeing the drive so check connection how did you clone and what with
I used Macrium Reflect and it said successfuly cloned.
I have used it before with no probs.
If the source drive is still available and unaltered, I would try Macrium imaging rather than cloning.
But someone else may be able to help you get the clone working. I don't clone at all.

If i use image to the SSD will I still be able to use it in the laptop.
I'd certainly think so. Imaging can certainly fail for whatever reason, but it seems to be less problematic than cloning--judging from complaints seen around here.
Cloning and imaging have the same final result if successful as far as I know.
