    I've stumped crucial

Probably posted this in the wrong section, but deletion not possible.

Went to crucial.com to purchase an M2 SSD for my ASUS H110M-C2 motherboard. Got this:
Well, this is embarrassing! No system match was found.
Somehow, a match for your system has eluded our industry-leading compatibility database. Our compatibility team will be searching for a solution if it is available, so check back soon!
    Must be a first.

Hi, there is a socket, it's below the CPU. I have a spare M2 so I will install that. Curious Crucial can't find it.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately, I can't use your Amazon link, I'm in the UK. lol

Of course I can get to amazon.uk, I live here. Anyway you solved something I couldn't figure out, one slot or two, looks like I only need one.

Certainly not a first, my old PC circa 2001/2 with a standard ASUS MOBO at the time and it failed to detect the RAM Modules properly. Crucial themselves did not stock the type of Memory required either.
After a bit of testing it emerged that production batches around that era had to be used as supposedly compatible RAM modules manufactured years later would not work, so even batch numbers and production dates had to looked at, and older second hand RAM modules purchased from Ebay.

You should always consult the MOBO manual for compatible specs, but even that might not work...

Just for the record, I chose this board because it was Linux compatible. They are getting rarer, I think Microsoft is doing some arm twisting. Also, most of Lenovos are as well. I have a Lenovo E570 and it's faultless, installed Fedora no problem.
