    Constant Problems with HP 4510 Envy printer software problems


    I had my HP 4510 envy All in one Printer for 2 years now and I have constant problems with the software that wont give a color printing option. It will copy and print in color but wont print in color. I followed instructions on HP support site to uninstall all the HP software and it accompanying folders. I did it a couple of months ago and it worked but now the problem is back. I really sick of this printer and its software and its constant problems.

    I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and it still wont print in color even though it will copy in color. No Option for Color or Black can be seen. Are HP printers junk and should I just get another brand if this keeps occurring. Just spent 80 dollars on new cartridges and would like to be able to print in color or Black. any comment s or advise as to what going on with this printer.

    The printheads gum up after a while. It comes from the printer sitting for a long period or small print jobs. I have moved to a Samsung M2825dw laser. If you need to do color, the color lasers start around $160 usd.
