Windows 10 prints in gray scale

My Windows 10 is printing in grayscale. My wife can print to the same printer in color. If I print to PremPDF that comes out in color. But the print preview is also in grayscale. In printer preferences, grayscale is turned off.

Does anyone know where to look to change that?

Your procedure does not lead to the preferences. start->settings does not have devices. So I went to control panel->devices and printers. Then right click on my printer and selected printing preferences. Then used the Paper/Quality tab. That brought up the page where, like I already said, the grayscale option is set to Off. And there is no mention of "black and white or color". Could you be using Windows 7 or 8?

    I'm on win10pro 1903 18362.239

Try printer properties, preferences, paper/quality tab for black and white or color
Advanced button, print in grayscale >black ink only

As I said, grayscale is No. I'm running 10.0.17134 Build 17134. I'm doing the navigation by typing into the start menu.
I don't see black and white or color. Is there a way I can attach a screenshot?

Uninstall printer software and drivers on troublesome computer and reinstall after rebooting. Once drivers are installed with printer software, connect directly to the printer and see if you still have problems. If this is a shared printer attached to another computer or your router through direct connection or USB to Ethernet/Wireless adapter, you can be limited to only Grayscale.

The key info you left out is what is the mfg and model of the printer. That is more important than OS.

I'm not sure what you mean by the mfg. The printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.

Reinstalling the printer did not help.

Mfg is short for Manufacurer. How is the Officejet connected for using it between computers?

It is connected via WiFi ... but what difference does that make?

I've already tried all the things in that link.
