Win 10 Problem. I have 16 GB of Memory Installed, but 8GB Only showing

I have something very strange going on in Windows. It's showing I have 16 GB of memory installed, but only 7.95 GB is useable. Motherboard is a MSI B450-A Pro, and the memory modules are 2x Corsair Vengeance LED Pro 8 GB (for a total of 16 GB) My motherboard's bios is also only showing 8 GB of System memory. I have included pictures from CZU-Z of my memory tab and my SPD Tab

    Hi there

check the hardware connections --modules seated properly etc. -- also sometimes you can't "mix and match" memory modules at random - depends on the mobo. Documentation will state what's allowable and what isn't.

Normally, when using a matched pair, the modules should be on slot 1&3 or 2&4.
Check the MB manual for dual channel slots.

Before inserting or taking off any memory module, make sure the power supply is disconnected from the wall outlet.
Take off one module and see what BIOS reports. Than take the other one and see what BIOS reports.

Ok, I think I have a bad memory slot on my motherboard. I have checked the manual. Both modules come up fine in my bios as 8 GB sticks. and it boots into windows with no issues. I have also checked my motherboard manual and both slots 2 and 4 have to be populated for dual channel memory to work. I also did a BIOS update for my motherboard that I seen that increased memory support for it, but that did not change anything. The only thing I can think of doing at this point is running a memory test on the system, and see what happens.
