Turns out BOOTMGR was corrupt. I fixed it by running those 2 commands with bootrec.
    Now I'm back on AHCI.

Although how do we get Windows 7 to work now?

I used Windows 7 Disk Managment to mark the drive as active.
Then went onto Windows 10 repair cmd and used bootrec.

    That's how I fixed the 1st issue.

Now that Win 10 is working do the same to Win 7

    - Detach ALL drivers, leaving on only disk 1
    - Boot from win 7 installation disk, go to repair - Boot repair

    Thx both work now.
Although it didn't require me to remove HDDs.

Marking HDD active worked with disk managment and partdisk.
