How to disable gestures on my Ideapad L340 touchpad

I have a new Ideapad L340. I want to disable gestures on the touchpad (especially tap to click). I followed the instructions at the Lenovo support site (URL listed at the bottom of this post). The instructions get you to Mouse Properties.
Then the instructions say "click Settings or Advanced Settings."
Unfortunately, on the Lenovo Ideapad L340 there is no Settings or Advanced Settings to click on in the Mouse Settings Dialog box.
I have seen lots of suggestions that involve clicking on the tab to the right of the Hardware tab on the Mouse Properties dialog box, but there is no tap to the right of the Hardware tab.
I am open to registry editing also.


Is there anything I can do?

No. I saw someone in one of my searches ask if that means it is not a precision touchpad. Here is the screenshot.

Yes. Here are some more screenshots. Get more info shows the second shot. Additional Settings just brings up the Mouse Properties box from my original screen shot. No, it is not among the hidden icons.

I found an exe at Lenovo for the Synaptics Device drivers for the L330, but could not find one for the L340. I ran it and it said the best drivers for your device are already installed.

OK, I went to the site that has the older driver. I downloaded a .rar file, extracted the files and there was a .exe. I ran it. It said it updated drivers. I still don't see anything new. No tab to the right of the Hardware tab in Mouse properties. I did like the youtube video said (subbing the exe file for the inf file) and right clicked on Synaptic Pointing Device (under Mice and other pointing devices). I chose update drivers, selected the .exe file and it said the best drivers were already installed. Perhaps I need to follow the following instructions that were on the post that directed me to the site with the old driver, but I don't know how to do it (or even if it is describing what I just did).

The issue is the official Lenovo Driver is later, so after installing you must manually force update with device manager to the driver to the one you downloaded, then eventually you can access the settings for the touchpad.

Have I already done this and if not, how would I do that?

Before I do that, I should make sure I am choosing the right device. Nothing in Device Manager is called Touchpad. Under Human Interface Devices there are 2 choices, I2C HID Device and Synaptics HID Device. Under Mice and other pointing devices there is a device named Synaptic Pointing Device. Which of these translates to the touchpad?
I would include a screenshot, but bringing up device manager seems to disable doing screenshots.
