    You could try this- I've used it for quite a long time. Allows you to set DPI resolution, level of ink saving (3 options I think), and selectively print pages from a document.

    Have you tried "Draft Mode" or similar in your printer settings?
    You might be surprised at the results without adding any software.

    BTW - if your printer has a built-in Duplexer, you can print on both sides of a page.

Presently I need to scan a document twice to save as two different types i.e pdf and jpeg or even if I want to save in colour and Black n White separately than also I have to scan two times. I am using HP scanning software for my HP flatbed...
when I try to print any documdent with a print command, I only get anoption to save the document as a tiff file. Saving the documnet and then trying to print it gives the same "save as" option again. Printer is HP photosmart 6100 series.
Not sure if this the best forum for this but I am gonna try anyway. I just got some new ink for my Dell 1320c, and now the print heads are out of alignment. I went here, but after the initial unzipping, the directions get horribly complicated....

I spoke to Hewlett Packard UK this morning and asked them if my particular printer model would work under Win 10, and were they ready for the change. They asked my what OS I was using, so I said 8.1 home on my pc, and 8.1 pro on my laptop, all up...
