Unable to load Windows from M.2 SSD

I just purchased my first M.2 SSD. It's a 1 GB SSD and I'm trying to move everything from my current 250 GB SSD (including Windows) to the new SSD. I have no problem moving everything to it. The problem I'm having is that my computer won't boot from it. I've used both Minitool Partition and EaseUS Todo Backup.

In Minitool I choose migrate OS to SSD, option B, then click apply. What it creates can be seen below. It splits the drive into three partitions. I'm not sure if the Windows (M:) should have a little windows icon next to it like my C drive or if that is only the harddrive currently running windows. Either way, I set the new SSD to load first however it doesn't load and instead loads from the C drive.

When I tried to use EaseUS, I started by just cloning my entire C drive to the new SSD. I was still unable to load windows from the new harddrive. I then found the system clone option however when selecting it and choosing the new SSD it says not enough unallocated space on the target disk. I have made sure to delete everything from the SSD however I cannot get this message to go away.

I've spent hours trying to find a solution but none have helped yet. Any help would be appreciated!

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z270XP-SLI-CF in case it isn't in my signature.

The problem is the paritions do match and m isnt boot. First remove the old ssd does it boot with that removed? if not then you need to use minytool and delete all paritions on the new drive and ensure you commit. Next who makes the new drive goto their site they normally give away their own cloning software. Ideally you need a sector by sector copy so the paritions are all the same size once you got it booting you can change them later.

The new SSD is and Inland Premium 1TB NVME M.2 PCIE. I'm unable to find a website for them, I purchased it from microcenter. I will unplug my old SSD and try booting without it plugged in but I did try that once before and it didn't work. I will then try what you suggested and report back.

Ok so unplugging the other SSD and booting from the new one did seem to work this time! My last two questions are one, if I plug in the old SSD, will it still boot to the new one as long as the new one is higher up in the boot order? And second, I still have the SYSTEM (F) and Recover (L) drives. Do I need those? If so, can I hide them from showing up in My PC?

The problem is if you clone a drive its an exact copy of the old drive and windows writes a disk signature to the drive so now it has 2 with the same signature so it thinks they are both the same drive. Leave it out for a bit until your sure the new drive is working ok then you need to wipe the drive ideally plugged in externally and then you can put it back.

System is were it actual boots from so dont touch it recovey is so small so leave that windows writes files to it in case you want to refresh the system

For SYSTEM (F) and Recover (L), just keep them, but you can remove their drive letter in Disk Management to hide them.

For some reason both the L and F drives don't allow me to change the letter. I can change either of the other two but everything is greyed out on both. The only thing I can click for the recovery L drive is delete. It isn't the end of the world if I can't do this, just seems odd that it isn't giving me the option.
