Can I delete the MSR 128mb partition?

The title says it all. In addition, I have 1903 but this partition is on my hard disk from ages. it is the Microsoft Reserved Partition, and it is exactly 128mb. Can I safely delete it?

Then you must have upgraded from Windows 8/8.1. For a clean install of Windows 10 the MSR would only be 16MB.

Beginning in Windows 10, the minimum size of the MSR is 16 MB which the installer allocates by default

There are differing opinions on that. Some report deleting it with no apparent ill effect. I've never tried. Read that Wikipedia link and this post, then make your choice....

Personally, I wouldn't delete it even if you can. If you are that short on space that 128MB makes any difference to you, then IMHO, you probably need larger drive

You will notice when you install a secondary drive on a Windows 10 computer that Disk Management creates a 16 MB MSR partition. I always delete it on my backup drives. I've never had a problem.

Why not resizing it to 16MB?
