does anyone know the purpose of the 'OTHER' partition that is created by Windoze10 setup..? I understand that the other three are:-
    1. recovery partition
    2. boot partition
    3. installation partition

but I don't know what is on the other one?

That is the 16MB Microsoft reserved partition (MSR) that is only found on GPT formatted drives. It is hidden in Disk Management, but can be seen in your Partition Wizard and will be listed in Diskpart.

There are differing opinions on that. Some report deleting it with no apparent ill effect. I've never tried. Read this and make your choice....

I'll bet they are a believer in overprovisioning.

    Hi,
I always leave free space it's a good thing no reason to let windows write all over the place
Actually I believe I would reduce C even more 17% used now I'd reduce it to 40% used.
