Device Manager shows > Other devices> Unknown Device

I noticed a few days ago that Device Manager was showing an unknown Device, and I'm not sure how to correct that. I was thinking of deleting it, but that I should ask on the forum first. My system seems to be running ok save for my running slow when opening programs, but I've chaulked it up to my system age.

I do see that each time I boot it Windows apparently tries to load this device, but fails.
I took 5 screen snips, but they loaded out of order.

If it is the motherboard listed in your system info, that is a very old motherboard and that driver may not work from previous editions of Windows, if you can find the device. Only way to determine devices in Device Manager is to grab that info from say a Windows 7 install and compare to what devices that have drivers and those without drivers that show unknown. Look at all of the pulldown menu options in Details/Properties and see if it shows anything that may clue in as to the device.

    It's probably a chipset driver.
Open device manager. Right click on Details tab.
    Select Hardware ID
Select first line, right click and copy
Paste the ID here. It should be something like PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A102&SUBSYS_B0051458&REV_31

    ROOT\MULTIFUNCTION\0000

Just in case I was trying to repair and install a larger monitor that I removed and went back to my old monitor. Could that have caused my issue ?

That doesn't look like a Hardware ID

    Open device manager.
    Select the Unknown device.
Right click and select properties then Details tab.
On Push down arrow, Select Hardware ID
Select first line, right click and copy
Paste the ID here. It should be something like PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A102&SUBSYS_B0051458&REV_31

Light dawns on Marblehead ! Just missed that tiny down arrow.
I see it's a problem with my HP Officejet Pro 6830 printer.
I thinking I should remove my printer software and try reinstalling ?
