    removable drive in FE

I have a Garmin Nuvi GPS. When I connect it to the computer it enters mass storage mode. In the past, 2 drives would open, one for the internal storage and one for the µSD card.
I am now on W10Pro v1903 and what I see is a folder nuvi 359SD like Music or Pictures and the internal storage and SD card show up as folders with drive icons under that.

The problem is, I cannot access a hidden system folder on the Nuvi with that arrangement. It needs to be presented as a removable drive. How do I make it a removable drive?

    1. Bring up the volume screen on the GPS.
    2. On the upper right hand corner. Press your finger on screen and hold for appx 10 seconds.
    3. Shortly you will see the developers screen.
    4. Find MTP Settings and touch it.
    5. It will show 3 selections. MTP Auto Detect,Mass Storage and Mass Storage Single Session.
    6. Choose MTP Auto
    7. Now select save and you are good to go.

Garmin MTP mode setting - YouTube

If that fails, try resetting to Factory Settings

    Spunk
b4 you suggest resetting to factory defaults you should know:
Factory defaults is what creates the issue.
the issue is that the Nuvi is set to auto detect BY DEFAULT instead of mass storage.
So if someone else asks the question refer them to this
