In Disk Management, highlight the disk you have C: on and choose Properties/Volumes this will tell you if it is Initialized GPT or MBR,
Unless you are desperate for a few MB's of Space, I would leave it alone.

I don't see that anywhere. I just see that it's an ntfs disk.

Highlight the DISK designation (all the way to the left), not the C: drive, right click the disk label- choose Properties and select the Volumes tab.

    Or start diskpart, then

    list disk

GPT disks have asterisks in Gpt column

    exit to close.

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you post a screengrab?

In disk management, right click here, on appropriate disk, then properties and then volume tab.

It says that mbr is the type of partition. I just did the steps that navy suggested. It works, thanks.

It seems like this is no longer working. I get a message that says delete is not allowed on the current boot system pagefile crashdump or hibernation volume, if i try to delete a leftover partition. Anyway, i figured it out. You have to mark the c drive as the active partition first, then restart windows, then you can delete it.

I have had the reserved partitions show up in "this pc" and believe that they can be hidden.
