intel I7-8550 cpu and uhd 620 graphics, is the graphics in the cpu?
Where is the builtin graphics. and if its in the cpu, when you upgrade the cpu, does it give you a new graphics chip?

The CPU includes UHD Graphics 620.

In new generations of Intel CPUs (including yours), the graphics chip is integrated in the CPU, so when upgrading to a faster CPU you also upgrade the graphics card. OF course if you are using a discrete PCI-E graphics card, this is by default disabled, unless you enable it in BIOS
its interesting that none of the graphics is anywhere else, so its upgrade-able if a significantly better chip ever comes out that is comparable with the motherboard..Except I read its soldered to the board. BGA chip.
