Remove a driver I installed in error?

I had a slight brain fart earlier today and installed a driver (via the .inf file) for which I don't have the matching hardware.

How do I get rid of it properly? As the device was never present (and can't be as I have no PCI-X slots) it doesn't show up in device manager ...

    Thanks

    I'd use this - DriverStoreExplorer.

You don't need to install it - just download from releases tab on GitHub and run as administrator.

    David,

Don't be surprised if you find nothing using DriverStoreExplorer.

The driver installation should have searched for a relevant Hardware ID then, upon finding that there was no match, it should have just closed without doing anything. Good driver installation packages would tell you what they had done / not done but they don't all do so.
