How do I remotely update Intel Drivers

    Hello,

I have a couple of questions in regards to driver updates and MS.

    1) Will critical Intel driver updates come down via Windows updates if Intel/MS deem them as critical or necessary?

    2) I am trying to learn what other's are doing in regards to patching their systems from vulnerable drivers.
    What tools are you using?

Lately, I have been going around and physically touching my computer's and applying intel's patch's via intel automatic driver tool. This is not the best method as I have computer's that I keep at remote locations but they are online at all times.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

    Thanks!

There is no guarantee to windows keeping your drivers up to date , sometimes it even force installs glitchy old ones , mind you their catalogs usually contain drivers less the useful tools / user interfaces that usually come bundled with which .

So if you are a domain admin you can do a "Deploy" an installation or a patch remotely over a managed network .

If not then you can enable and use "Remote Access" feature to connect to other computers over the internet and do the updates manually .

You can have packages like "Driver Booster" , it usually schedules for driver updates check and tells you which needs to be updated but only paid version allows for automatic installation meaning you have to be there clicking install if on free version .

Finally there is a similar tool to Remote Access done by Intel to control and update their hardware remotely , is called "vPro" but then the hardware has to clearly state it is vPro compatible .

You can also use, if this is non commercial, Teamviewer to access and control remote devices. Have it start with Windows and assign good password. Still a manual process but easy way to support remote machines.

    Thanks guys.
At this point, I have over 500 different machines (Many different make & models).
Logging into these remotely to install a driver would be very time consuming.
I am hoping to find a all-in-one solution that will allow me to patch these onsite and remote computer's.

Try Intel forums, although not sure whether they will support business/corporate type of enquiries.

to remote manage such huge number of machines you need to construct a domain , i.e a virtual private network and an active directory so you can update them all in one go by policy and deployment . second easier solution is automatic driver updateres but then i can't recommend cracked ones and buying license for 500 of em is out of the question but still try to contact them for volume license .
