You might want to consider adding type-C ports as well as the USB 3.1 type A ports. I've been favoring type C when I can. The reason is they're a much better design.
Type A ports have an insertion and removal cycle longevity of 1500 where it's 10,000 for type C ports. Also, with type C ports all the heavy wear parts are in the cable. On type A high speed both male and female connectors have heavy wear parts. Heavy wear parts being the contacts that have to flex and apply pressure to the mating surface. Those get weak over time and fail, I've had that happen a few times with type A ports. For type C simply replacing the cable refreshes those contacts.
Type C is really quite an advancement in connector design, much higher cycle life and the heavy wear happens on the cable, not the motherboard connector.
