Both disks are new. There is not old boot disk and the sata drive is not initialized at all so it's impossible to have left over boot partitions inside. The only disk configured is the NVMe with the Windows 10 installed and it is the first option boot configuration in Bios.
I simply replied to this question... "Any chance your HD was an old boot disk and may have left over boot partitions that the system is interrogating". Didn't realize it was a quote you took from Ken.

About solid NVME disk in PCI-e mode...
I mean that I have a disk SSD NVME in M2 Port. This disk could be configured in Bios in sata mode or pci-e mode.
Never seen that one before, and I've effectively built 3 systems featuring NVMe drives. In fact I've got both a Samsung 950 Pro and 970 Pro NVMe drives. Both are native PCIe drives so no "configuration" needed.

The Nvme means Non-Volatile Memory Express but you know that better than me, I do not have a lot of knowledge, sorry.
Yeah I'm familiar with NVMe drives. Have 3 of them. Two in my current build listed in my system specs. One in my backup system.

    Thanks :)

    I use minitool Partition Wizard.

    10TB... that is big.

While there shouldn't be any size restriction I wonder.

Is your BIOS up to date?

If you go to page 49 of manual what is your device set to for "Sata Mode".

Within this section there is a spot to enable or disable Sata ports and make them hot swappable. Have to ask, are your ports enabled.

Yes the sata ports are enable but there are not enable hot swappable. Anyway I connect the Hd Sata to the sata port before turning on the PC, so it's not necessary to enable hot swappable I think.
May be I have to upload sata drivers of the motherboard but I don't think this is the probleme...

I suspect the SATA hard drive is bad. I know, "But it's brand new!" I still suspect it is bad. Or possibly bad SATA cable.

The cable is ok, I tried differents cables and the same probleme.
I think you are right. It has to be the Sata hard drive

Before you go running off and replacing the drive, is it possible to swap another drive there? it can be any drive as you simply want to see if its a cable or port. That said, I too believe it's the drive (have said so), but....

    And thanks

Yes, the last option. It will be a good idea to check it.
I will connect other sata drive and other cable to make sure.

and test in an external enclosure which likely will be USB connected.

Given it is brand new then they should replace no questions asked. Still a pain but I'll bet that drive cost a buck or two (or several hundred)

I will check it with external device...
I bought it one month ago in the store... so I do not know if I have to speak with the store or directly with Western Digital about warranty. What do you think?

Start at the store. They might exchange it on the spot. If not, then go to WD.
