So what I'm seeing when I'm actually in Windows is a 3rd drive but it's only like 13 gigs. Is that the drive that's making the fast boot work so well. I do have to say that's impressive what ever is making that happen. It's almost instantaneous but not to see my additional drives is not good.

My SATA ports are lined up similar to the chart you posted but from what I'm seeing only TWO of them are operational, which is where both the SSD and the SATA drive I bought along with this rig are hooked up too. Those two ports are the upper two that are side by side. The other two ports just below are the ones I mentioned that are blocked by the video card but I did get the optical drive hooked into one of them but it didn't show up in the BIOS upon booting up nor in Windows 10 Device Manager! So..... I started from the bottom of the SATA ports and worked my way back up, no joy there either!

Okay, sounds like you don't have an M.2 drive. Not sure on 13Gig

See if there is anything thing plugged into these ports. These drives lie flat on the MB.

Hmmm, there is something screwed in there actually! I can take a pic of it if you'd like me too to confirm?

    Not necessary.

So which one is in use?

These are your SATA ports, which two are working. Lowest right is port zero.

In the diagram with the circle around them they are upper two, the other two are behind the vid card....

So the UPPER ones are actually the lower numbers and the bottom ones are the zero and 1? That means the guys at CP-PC have the drives in the 6 and 7 slots or 7 or 8 slots really...

Each port has a number. Your port zero is unavailable as your M.2 is installed in M2P-32G

So all your other ports should be available.

Did you look at the SATA Support setting in Bios I mention in post 7.

OK. I'll boot in and take a screen grab and post here.

Oh and CP-PC got in touch an hour ago, so I'm sure Marco has gone home now but he asked me if I had it ... well here are his words...

"Is the system still in the Intel Optane raid mode or is it now set to AHCI?

If by some chance it was still set to Optane Rai,it would explaing the missing the addtional HDD.
    "

I wrote him back and stated that it was set too Intel RST Premium mode! Not AHCI!
