Can't rename any drive to "M"

    I got it. Kari put me on the right track. It seems that Acronis Backup targets M:\ for Acronis Drive. Even though an M Drive doesn't show in Disk Management or the registry. One less thing to keep me up at night. Thanks to everyone.

    Is there an issue with Acronis. I've used it for years with zero issues. Saved me more than once.

    Earlier Acronis versions had problems with UEFI, don't know about it now but MR is faster and has more options, specially payed version. Free version is good enough for most anybody though. Also has very good restore/rescue utility on CD/USB.
