    Logitech Unifying Receiver

Just a minor contribution here. After buying a Logitech keyboard/mouse combo, I was having problems with the mouse continually stopping. The cursor would simply freeze. Many threads on other sites, including Logitech, contained various fixes but none that worked. After a couple of days of exploring ineffective recommendations, I looked at the driver settings.

The issue is not with the drivers for the keyboard/mouse, you need to go into the Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager>Human Interface Devices> and look for any entries for Logitech. There may be more than one. For each entry, click properties and in the power management tab, deselect the "allow computer to turn device off to save power". Once I did this my mouse started working flawlessly.

Many many Logitech unifying devices in use here, JFYI I have not had that issue, ever. Keyboards, trackballs etc. I have had to relink the odd device once or twice when it just stopped working all together? I just go with the stock Windows 10 installed drivers. If I have issues I only ever install the Unifying software. Usually I only use it to unlink a keyboard from a mouse keyboard combo and link the keyboard to my trackballs Unifying receiver, so I only have to use the one receiver.

Do you have sufficient signal strength? I put the tiny USB RF transceiver on the end of a USB extension cable to position it under the monitor and much closer to the mouse & keyboard.

I have my USB RF transceiver on the end of the USB extension (that came with my set) hooked to the back of my computer and it lays on top. I never have any problems with my K350 keyboard/M705 mouse combo. Mouse works as it should when I have it set up correctly and haven't pushed the wrong button.
