Mouse lagging, keyboard repeating keys even when not typing.

I believe this started happening just after the last update.
I'll be typing and it will start to lag really bad and then the last key I actually hit will start repeating accross the screen. At this point I'm not even touching the keyboard.

I also have some add mouse lag issues. I've tried different mice (wired and wireless), different ports, but I still see this happening. The mouse will either stop for a few seconds or move very slowly and then catch up to what I'm doing.

I have thought about uninstalling the last update, but I think it would just get pushed to my laptop again (Corporate policy) I was hoping someone might have an idea of how either of these can be fixed.

I'm using the Microsoft 4000 ergonomic Keyboard and a Logitech M510 wireless mouse.

goto settings / ease of access / scroll down on the left side to keyboard and turn off stickykeys toggle keys and filter keys
in the right pane.
back to left pane choose mouse choose in right pane change other mouse options /left pane choose additional mouse options go through options tab and adjust to you.
or try logitech set point if you have that installed to adjust your mouse.

Sticky keys are turned off for the keyboard.
I'm on a laptop, I have the touch pad turned off currently. Recently I went into Hardware manager and disabled / uninstalled all mouse drivers except the one that I need for the Logitech mouse. My mouse is setup as suggested.

Sorry if I'm a bit confused, you are using an external mouse and keyboard on a laptop? Do you have the
main keyboard on the laptop disabled as well as the touchpad?

Yes, on a laptop.
I have the lid of the laptop closed, but I don't have them disabled. I'll try disabling the touchpad and see if that ends my frustrations with my mouse.

That's something I may have to try at home tonight. It's my work laptop.

I think I figured it out.
I leave my laptop open, no problems. Since opening it, everything is fine. Obviously something with Dell, will need to contact their support and see what they say.
