USB 3.0 Flash Drive not detected in USB 3.0 port

my USB 3.0 flash drive is detected when plugged into the 2.0 USB port, but not when its plugged into the 3.0 USB port. But my 2.0 USB devices are detected when plugged into the 3.0 USB port.

Is there any way to make it so 3.0 USB detects 3.0 USB?

Sometimes a flash drive is incorrectly detected when first plugged in and the wrong drivers get loaded. After that you cannot use the device until you uninstall the driver (ie. make it appear the device is being plugged in for the first time).

To do that, open Device Manager, select 'View > Show hidden devices' then look for the device (probably in Disk drives) right-click on it then select 'Uninstall device'. Then try plugging it in again.

I don't want to go to details but i will give some information from personal experience.
The USB from Kingston Dt created in Taiwan works reliable only with third party usb3.0 controllers.
The Usb from Kingston DT created in China works reliably with all Intel USB3.0 controllers.

If u want to bypass the problem use the behind usb3.0 slots behind the motherboard and not in front panel.

Thanks for confirmation. U can use it there, or in front panel as USB.2.0 .
I personally couldn't make 3 Taiwan Dt to work reliably in front panel , with usb3.0 provided by Intel in different motherboards after haswell.
