ReFS File System on Hard drive

    ReFS File System on Hard drive


    Is the ReFS file system suitable for use on the hard drive? if it matches what makes them suitable and if not, please state the reason too. Thanks.

    I have windows 10 education that have ReFS file system on format option and that makes me confused.

    Hello Acaahayuhuy, and welcome to Ten Forums.

    I would only use it on an internal data drive. Using it on an external drive may cause a compatibility issue if you connect it to a computer with an OS that doesn't support ReFS.
