I created a USB bootable USB stick for use with Killdisk to erase my failed netbook. I now what to be able to use this USB stick for other things.
My Windows 10 PC does not recognize it as being plugged in within file explorer. Attached is a picture of the screen from disk management.
How do I fix this? Or is my USB stick now useless?
Just delete that middle partition and it will be all unallocated so you can initialize and format it .
Can you tell me what the middle partition is referring to? Disk 5? And do I simply R click and delete?
If I R click the 1 MB partition, all the options are greyed out.

Or just use Diskpart in a Command Prompt (Admin). First list the disks to find the number to use for the usb, then select and clean it. After that it will all be unallocated.
Ok. I got the command.
Result: error is access denied. See system event log. What do I look at in the event viewer?
(I don't really want to install the minitool partition manager with the extra software it's bundled with.)

They also provide a Portable version that requires no install. You can put it on a USB and run it from there.
