Hello, have you checked the driver download page for your model?

Notice the Fingerprint scanner .. do you have that installed?

This is what my Lenovo has:

Looking at this another way, when dd your FP scanner last work? For example, did it work before upgrading to 1809?

dalchina the problem is that I install driver and everything goes OK but I never see any Biometric devices in Device Manager.

This is a brand new laptop and upgraded it when I got it to Windows 10 1809.

I have tried set view in Device Manager to see hidden items and still cannot see Biometric devices.

Does anybody have any idea how to solve issue.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand your problem; as I can't see your PC and I haven't a precise history of what exactly you have tried, you will forgive me for seeking to eliminate the obvious first - I do hope you can understand the rationale of that.

I therefore understand you to be saying that you have
    - downloading the driver I showed from the HP web site
    - you have tried specifically installing that driver.

    Is that correct?

As it is a new laptop, I suggest you contact HP support. That's covered by your warranty.

Here we address many Win 10 issues- we're not HP specialists in their latest laptops.
