Unable to install Broadcom GPS driver (BCM4752)

    Hi guys,

I did a clean install of Windows 10 on my Lenovo Miix 2 8 tablet.
    Everything went fine.
But, I wasn't able to install the driver for the internal GPS. It's a Broadcom BCM4752.
The installation of all drivers I found (including Lenovo) ended with the message:
"An upgrade was needed. Please reboot your system and restart the installer."
Which I did - but, it didn't help!

Installing the driver under Windows 8.1 and upgrading to Windows 10 worked without problems!

    Has anybody an idea?

    Regards,

    Hi locooote,

    I found the following solution:

Start the setup.exe and wait for the upgrade error message. Don't acknowledge or close the message window!
Look in your temp folders for a Broadcom folder. Copy it to a safe location.
Now you can close the message window.
In the broadcom folder is a location folder.
Therein you will find two folders: BcmgnssBus and BcmgnsslocationSensor. In each of them is a x86 folder.
In each of the x86 folders is one inf file. Rightclick them and choose Install.

    Good luck!
