How to configure my decent/pretty good PC for OPTIMAL gaming performan

I have a decent PC - see below for specs

    Intel i7-7700 (non-k) 3.6ghz
    32gb ram
    geforce nvidia 1080ti turbo
    Samsung 970 evo m2 SSD
Alienware 25" 240hz refresh rate monitor
Win 10 Pro for WOrkstation 1809+

    Thanks guys

Can someone point me in the direction of a badass way to give me an edge and show me how to do an advanced technique in PC gaming optimization of Windows?
Not the beginners stuff but maybe something in the Developer console or using performance counters
The game i play is Counter-Strike GO

    thanks

Hi and welcome to W10F, what kind of FPS do you get in CsGO ? That computer should run it like a bat out of hell. Beside obvious stuff like having proper drivers and windows updated, there's not much it needs for high performance in games.

Thank you Mike for the response

I get about 350 using the benchmark workshop map using 1920x1440 at 4:3 ratio (custom resolution)

I also have a 1gb download Ethernet network and 25" 240hz refresh monitor w the Logitech g502 hero mouse

Optimization is like a hobbie of mine you could say

Have you seen those YouTube videos that discuss regedit tweaks where you edit your system responsiveness and your windows session manager gaming priority DWORD string values

Yes, have seen those but I doubt you need them and most are for under-powered systems with little impact.
