New video driver Geforce GTX 750 Ti for Win 10 not installed

    Hello guys,

My current video driver Geforce GTX 750 Ti version for win 10 x64 is 417.71. I've downloaded its 419.35 version and went for installing it.
    But it can't be installed.

Of course, my Windows 10 x64 machine is connected to a switcher.

    Download Display Driver Uninstaller

    Reboot computer in to the
    Safe Mode use option one

Check Prevent downloads of drivers from Windows update when Windows search for a driver for a device (close, ok)
    Select device type GPU
    Clean and restart
Now run Nvidia drivers installer 419.67
    Select custom
Uncheck EVERYTHING excpet the GPU Driver and PHYSX

    Hi,
Thank you for your reply and explanation.
I went for OPTION TWO in the safe mode and did all what you said.
But unfortunately the result is the same as the first screenshot (failed).
I'm not %100 sure, but I think the issue is with the cables and converters.
My monitor is HP ZR2240w. It lacks a VGA port so using an HDMI cable it's connected to an HDMI-to-VGA converter. Then using a VGA cable that converter is connected to the switcher I put its picture above. I think the issue refers to these inconsistencies between these various types and technologies. Do you think the problem can be worked out with these conditions?

Unfortunately, I uninstalled the previous 517.71 version in safe mode and now have no video driver installed and everything is too large!

No it's not your cable or converter.

Are you sure it's the right driver?
Anyway, you can always revert to the old driver. Just download it again and stay with that for now.

My video card is Geforce GTX 750 Ti.
The Windows I'm using is Windows 10 x64.
Now is the video card driver I've downloaded wrong?
    Should I test earlier versions?

Now Device Manager doesn't show my video card:

    Yes you should!

    Don't worry about it's name.
It's quite possible that that is your graphics card. Without a driver, it's not uncommon windows doesn't know the card's name and just says basic display adapter.
(You could click that adapter, select properties and search for the hardware IDs in google to confirm. There are IDs like PCI_XX_VEN_XX that refers to your card. That way you can be sure)

I recommend going to the manufacturer website and downloading the last working driver version.

Install that and see how it goes!

The card is still operational as you can see since you still have a video output working. You just need a driver.

Is it different from the one I had previously downloaded?
I think both are the same! Aren't they?
I think I've downloaded it three times!

As well as, I tested two earlier versions pf the driver, none worked!
What could be the problem, please?

Try right click on drivers and Run as administrator.

For most of the tries I did this.
I think whatever the issue is belonging, it's of that mixture of inconsistent technologies, (cables and converts), because previously I hadn't a problem with my video card.
    I'm right now re-installing Windows 10 x64.
After it's finished I try the latest version of the driver by right clicking and installing it. Hopefully it works.
I will make you informed of the result, as well.
