Strange. Why was CSM enabled in the first place?
Maybe the BIOS should be set back to default settings.

    Gremlins?

@TV2 was enabling and disabling CSM mode to see when/if/what drives would show up.

    I'm doing that manually.

If you make partition and use Genuine Windows 10 than it wont effect any partition. I was curious also but after creating partitions from EASEUS Partition Master than I did clean install. And my partition still there including DATA.

That's interesting. My understanding was that Windows insists on an unallocated DISK. This would indicate that it only requires an unallocated Partition.

I just installed Windows on the whole volume, then went in and shrunk the volume using Disk Management. There were no unmovable files anywhere near where I wanted to shrink to, so I was able to do what I wanted. Quick - easy.

BTW- Windows was only claiming 39GB of real estate on the volume.

That's considerably more than I'd expect if you are referring to Windows ONLY.

The last time I did a clean install, I showed around 14 GB with NO updates or applications and in the low 20s with updates, Office, a few other applications, and most configuration done.

Yes, Windows installation only, assuming the other 3 required partitions come before it.
But I could have shrunk it all the way down until there was only 39GB left.
I'm sure the installation files do not take up all of that space. The unmovable is usually the shadow volume.

Partition Wizard 9.1 on bootable USB still does not see the NVMe, even with windows installed.
It's got to be something in BIOS settings.

If this was the old bootable USB you were using before, it has nothing to do with BIOS settings. The underlying OS that is on that USB flash drive does not have NVMe drivers installed on it.

I had noticed in one of your previous screenshots that your copy of PW9 was recognizing your NVMe. So something in my system has got to be different. Are you booting PW9 or just running it in Windows?
