Any possible fix for my Microsoft keyboard

It's a decent Microsoft wired keyboard which is ergonmoic. I love ergonomic so much and get used to it already. However, the CAPS lock key suddenly failed one day, It's now put away, but I don't want to waste it.

Is there anything I can try to fix the keyboard? Yes, only the CAPS lock fails, and CAPS is an important key for me. I don't like to type without upper letter. Yes I can do with Shift key but it's not often convenient.

Is there any software would let me use another less commonly used key (like Function keys or Tab) for me to replace the CAPS key?

If you merely want to remap one key to another, SharpKeys is a simple, open-source program that can map one key to another using the Windows registry. For example, you can use SharpKeys to make my Alt key act as the Ctrl key, and my Caps Lock act as the Windows key.
