using light switches would lead the screen to black out for 1 second !

I have a laptop i connected to a tv screen and a projector , i got to notice that whenever anybody turns on or off the light switches across the house the connected screens turn off for one second before entering search mode then coming back on . i started thinking its the laptop being connected to electric grid so unplugged it and let it be on batteries yet the problem continued . i changed both hdmi and vga cable used but still , i cant set neither the tv nor the projector on UPS to test partly because i do not have one and isn't worth it to have one but yet this problem never happens to either of em when connected to cable boxes / satallite receivers , so any idea what might be the cause and how to stop it ?

You should get an electrician to look at your electrical system, things like that usually happen with bad earth/ground. Your cable should also be properly grounded and eventually have a filter installed. What happens when TV cable is disconnected ?

both tv and projector keep blanking weather one or both are connected at the same time , the test for grounding electricians use around here is a lame test partly because the national grid is a 2 wire grid not 3 , so grounding happens via wire 2 and it doesn't bury in earth like the rest of the 3 wires countries , they just test to see if the test screw driver lights on both or only one of the wires where if both then bad wiring is present where i already did that , i'm kind of suspecting though that electro magnetic pulses is involved too .

If it was electro magnetic pulses, it would be much worse when refrigerator or wash machine turns on and off, not lights. Did you try with TV cable disconnected ? I have seen cases when a lot of voltage is sent thru it.
