    Asus B450 drivers

Hello i am not sure if i should update the Sata and Chips set drivers on my B450 F MB, when i go to the suppport page on asus for the drivers i get 2 warning

Version 18.50.062019/01/23371.01 MBytesAMD Chipset driver 18.50.06AMD Chipset Driver V18.50.06 for Windows Win10 64bit.NOTICE: Due to the different structure for drivers, suggest you remove the old driver first before install this version driver.

whats the best way to remove the old drivers or can i just over write them ?

    and the second warning is

Version 9.2.0.872019/01/08545.17 KBytesRAID driverImprove system stability. Support AMD AM4 NVME&SATA RAID.NOTICE: If user exists old RAID system, and need to upgrade the new RAID driver. Please install RAIDXpert2 directly under the system, which already contains RAID driver. Please do not directly load RAID INF files in device manager.

    Thanks in advance

For the first there is no real need to update as there is little in the zip file (downloaded and had a look). I downloaded and had a look at what is in the extracted folder as well as ran the installer to see what if anything has been updated (I have a MSI B350 board with the latest chipset drivers directly from AMD). From what I can see from looking at both about the only thing that has been updated from the last release directly from AMD is the included video driver, which is still older than what is currently available from AMD.

For the second leave well enough alone unless you are actually running RAID on your computer, as that is all it is for.

P.S. For what it is worth, don't bother looking to Asus for driver updates, they are one of the worst at providing any kind of meaningful driver updates. Far better off just going directly to AMD and getting the latest from them (both chipset and video). About the only other thing that the Asus drivers have over the official AMD ones, is Asus drops their own installer into it so their name shows up during the install.
