How can I solve BSOD after enabling RAID in ASUS UEFI? (Z390 chipset)

Hi, I'm trying to use my spare 128GB SSD to accelerate a secondary 4TB HDD that I do alot of reading from.
Everything I found online makes the process of setting this up sound easy.

However the moment I enable Intel RST in the bios ez mode, OR, switch from ACHI to Intel in the advanced mode, and then shows RAID then listing all my drives, my reboot leads to the blue screen of death. This is a fresh rebuild that is otherwise working great. Just trying to speed up the 4TB drive.

Note: RST software is already installed on my Windows 10 but I don't have the "Accelerate" option available yet - I think I have to pass the bios properly first.

Can someone please assist? I've no clue about what could possibly be causing the failure.

I don't know. I'm not familiar with that. I have an SSD as my C: drive (OS and programs) and then I have a few 4TB HDDs, one of which I'd like to speed up thru SSD caching. (using a 128GB SSD - not my C: one). I was told this was a great way to use a spare SSD and that it was easy to do using RST software.

Is there a way of doing so WITHOUT having to re-install Windows since that it is not the C drive that I'm looking to speed up?
Otherwise, if I MUST, then can I restore a system image created on non RAID setup or would that break it again?

Humm that is not really a raid configuration OK. Looks like a solution looking for a problem ? Then my next question would be: "Why not just install the OS onto the SSD and be done with it" ? I must have 200+ programs installed on my SSD and its still under 50gb ? Or is this a large data base issue ?

I already have my OS onto a 1TB SSD, along with programs. I have many terabytes of audio libraries used in the music studio which benefit from getting loaded as quickly as possible. Since I have a small SSD lying around, I felt it would be nice to use it to give the "up to 60% performance increase" on the large capacity HDD.

OK that is what I was asking about. Did you install the OS before or after setting up "Raid/Cache" environment. Its got to be done after setting up this environment.

Win 10 was installed long time ago in standard setup. I didnt even know what RAID was back then. It's just since my audio workstation has expanded that I've come across this idea of speeding up large capacity secondary drive with small SSD. I've got a pretty complex setup so having to resinstall would make me vomit.
Looks like there was at a certain time a utility called RaidFIX but I can't seem to find a valid link to download it anymore.

I dont think I'm building a RAID in the traditional sense. But it has to be switched to that mode in order to use RST acceleration.
