Hello, can you use a System Restore point created before you installed Zone Alarm to restore your PC?

Note: SR will only be enabled if you have specifically enabled it since any last upgrade procedure. Further, using SR points is known to be unreliable in that whilst it's safe, it may no succeed.

Otherwise, do you use disk imaging routinely, as is so often recommended here? If so, restore Windows from a previously created disk image.

Failing those routine precautions, you may need to do an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs, data and most settings.

For that, you will need an iso for your current build and base language, freely downloadable.

Hi, I have recovered the system but this problem is not solved, it laughs a lot when I look at video and it is very unpleasant, some drivers from the program stayed and when I got them I do not have internet, that program still controls Ethernet driver

You may need to re-install Zonealarm, and uninstall it more completely. To uninstall, they suggest disabling it on startup, rebooting, and then doing the add/remove programs thing.

I have never used any of the third-party uninstall utilities, so I can't recommend one.

    Good luck.

vsdatant.sys Windows process - What is it?
vsdatant.sys seems to be from Zonealarm.

    Try @bobkn's idea.

Otherwise, which options in my post #2 do you have (an in-place upgrade install would not help given the incomplete uninstall).

3rd party uninstallers are generally helpful, but not recommended for AV and security products. However you might be forced to try one. E.g. Revo uninstaller (free). You would have to reinstall the prog first.

Zone Alarm is pretty aggressive. I ended up reinstalling Windows, after trying it out.
You should contact their support for help.
    They have got Chat available.

I would re-install Zone alarm, after rebooting, I would follow steps 1-4 here How do I remove ZoneAlarm from my computer (Version 10.x ZoneAlarm Support Center
Then I would download Revo Uninstaller. and uninstall Zone Alarm with it. Be sure to do the Advanced method and remove all traces from the Registry. After rebooting, press Windows Key+R in the Run Box type in regedit. In the Registry Editor, go to Edit/Find in the Find What box type vsdatant.sys click Find Next. It will search registry, if it stops on a file, press the Del key, press Enter to acknowledge the deletion, then press F3 to continue searching until you see the message Finished Searching the Registry. You can also search again for ZoneAlarm in the same manner. If it doesn't find anything, Zone Alarm should be gone. You may need to reinstall your Ethernet Drivers from your computer/motherboard manufacturer.
