Well, Deamon tools are virtualization for SCSI and IDE, SATA etc. are part of that standard.
    Thanks, Mike -

Daemon Tools should be cleanly uninstalled first before proceeding further and any other optional storage based add-on software.

    Some good advice here.

Did you follow my post above with Device Manager?

One thing that I would like to suggest is booting to Safe Mode and trying the Defragment and Optimize Drives again.
Otherwise, a call to ASUS might be the best bet at the moment.

Will not work it's one of the system services turned off in safe mode
You can't even do it with command prompt.

The only way to defrag(not force trim) in safe mode is to use a 3rd party tool.

Did what you said and uninstalled all storage devices. Still no dice. Booted into safe mode and the optimize drives program would not even launch.

Uninstalled Daemon tools lite with Revo, removed all registry keys and extra files. Still no dice.

    Rats!

    @Surgikill -

Disconnect all SSD's except for the boot SSD, reboot and see if you can TRIM it via the Win 10 OS.

    FWIW.

I also have Samsung SSD Magician installed, if that could be causing an issue? I had StoreMI installed but I got rid of that the other day with Revo. I don't think I have any other storage programs installed. Maybe there is a RAIDXpert2 driver installed somewhere?

I can try making a Win10 bootable USB and try that. Then I can narrow down whether it is a hardware or software issue.

I'd rather not nuke this install. I can wipe one of my other SSD's and install there and see if that fixes it.

What is your boot SSD? Just the boot drive.

Let's go with that first. Uninstall any other Storage related add-on software. OK?

    ASUS time.
They're just going to tell me it's an issue with my operating system and then make me jump through all sorts of hoops.
