    I have this driver installed

    X470 Drivers Support | AMD Maybe you can also "Scan for hardware changes" in Device manager

    After I restart it still shows 18.50.06 installed. "Scan for hardware changes" does nothing. I can try to uninstall the chipset driver and reinstall it if you think that would work.

    I don't know what would happen if a driver like that is uninstalled but should be able to do clean install of drivers from driver installation manual options
    We have practically same chipset and chips

    If all drivers and BIOS settings are ok,
    try running fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0 in an Admin command prompt,
    then reboot, and run winsat formal in another Admin command prompt and reboot again.
    Then see if you can force Trim in Optimize drives.

    I just did a clean uninstall, restart, installed 18.10, restart. Still no dice.

    Nope. Didn't work.

    I was poking around in device manager and found these under storage controllers as well. The Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller uses that same MSFT driver from June of 06

    I can try uninstalling daemon tools and the AMD driver if you think that would help.

    @Surgikill -

    Some good advice here.

    Did you follow my post above with Device Manager?

    One thing that I would like to suggest is booting to Safe Mode and trying the Defragment and Optimize Drives again.
    Otherwise, a call to ASUS might be the best bet at the moment.

    Well, Deamon tools are virtualization for SCSI and IDE, SATA etc. are part of that standard. According to that picture, AHCI mode is virtual too. If you uninstall it, do it with Revo uninstaller or some other uninstaller that cleans up after it.
