Need More Storage on Dell Inspiron 14

Hey guys, I have a Dell Inspiron 14 that only has 32GB of storage. It is one of those that does not allow you to upgrade the hard drive. I need more storage to download the Adobe Creative Suite. Before going to the last resort of buying a new laptop, what are my options to get more storage? Would an external SSD work?

    Thanks in advance.

The website has a feature where you can display the information for multiple comuters.
Please update the specs for the computers:

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

An external HD is a good idea as it will allow you to make backup images.

The backup images can come in handy in case there is:
    ransomware
    malware
    corruption of the operating system
    corruption o fhte registry
    corruption of the component store
corruption of the drive file system
    failure to boot
    etc.

These are software that have free and pay versions:
Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.

Macrium is widely used in Ten Forums:
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything
Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect | Tutorials

Until you get an an external drive this link may be useful to free up space on the drive:

Can you supply the exact model of Inspiron 11?

For example, Crucial lists some 2.5" SATA SSDs as upgrades to an Inspiron 11 3000 series. https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compa...s-(intel-ddr3)

Crucail is usually very reliable about that sort of thing.

What is the exact model# of the Inspiron 14 xxxx? If the storage is not a chip on the motherboard, but an M2 SSD, it may be upgradeable
Adobe CS is going to take up more space then the remaining space on the 32GB drive.
If this laptop is truly one that cannot be upgraded, it is because these laptops are just for surfing the net, Facebook and YouTube, it is not meant to be used to install the Adobe suite, edit video, photos, music or any other intensive programs As stated, spend the money on another computer instead.
