Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media not working

"Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" Notification is not working, has anyone else had this issue with 1809. I like the feature as I've had a couple of bad experiences pulling a drive out when it was not ready. Sure the little Drive Icon goes away but I like the notification.

Open file explorer > this PC > view the drive > right click eject > report into the thread whether this works or fails

    Got it guys:
"Settings" > "System" > "Focus assist". Make sure that is set to "Off"

Seems like I have to use this method all the time now a days, but the fix I posted worked in my particular situation, thanks.

    Glad to see it fixed.

Thanks zbook, it did take a bit of reading a few bogus threads.

This sucks guys, I have to keep using the little tutorial I posted above to fix this, but I don't expect all that much from Windows 10. A good OS, but way to complicated for it's own good. 1803 was really good, 1809 is not all that great so far IMO. I have glitchy graphics and this issue, and I'm a light user, Windows 7 would be my main OS.

My Set Time Zone Automatically was off also! So my time was in correct? I'm going to check System Restore now. Okay System Restore all good.

@Callender, thanks but that did not work as of yet. I am at the second fix #22, and I don't see this Update in Update history the easy way. Now would like to check if it is actually installed with a Cumulative Update so used this little tool, but it did not work.
    Code:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>wmic qfe where hotfixid="KB4476976" get hotfixidNo Instance(s) Available.
I will look through my notes to see if there is a better way.
